Soup!
Had my first days work experience at Soup Collective today. It was great and everyone was really friendly and helpful.
While I’m there I’m helping out with an 808 State dvd documentary and have been sorting through footage using Final Cut X. I hadn’t used this new version of Final Cut before today as I normally use Final Cut Pro 7 so I wasn’t sure how I would find it, but it’s been ok. I really like FCX as the functionality just feels alot smoother when sorting the footage. It has the ability to let you quickly tag footage that you favourite and then put the favourited footage on a timeline which gives you a rough edit right from the start.
All in all a good first day - looking forward to the rest of the week!
