I’ve been thinking about my idea for NMP which is designing an app. Since I came up with my idea I have decided I would like to go down the film editing path, so I’ve been thinking wether I should change my brief. However, I’ve decided to stick with the one I have as although I want to pursue film editing, I would like to mix my motion work with it. Since I will be producing a demo for my app, I think it is still relevant to what I am aiming for. It will be a good way to demonstrate my motion skills along with the editing work I have done. I also have a project coming up with a media student which involves editing a scene from a film that she will be recreating. Along with this and my NMP I hope to show a range of skills for my portfolio.

Our video is coming together now and we are adding effects to the footage as we edit it. Tomorrow is the set up for the DecodeRecode event and Thursday is the dry run for us who are going to be managing the footage etc. I’m looking forward to getting envolved!
